The Garlic Shaman - Exposing the fears
Doron Naama Gelfer & Nir Jacob Younessi
The Garlic Shaman is a participatory ceremony by Doron Naama Gelfer and Nir Jacob Younessi. Through clay, shared stories and ritual, participants give their fears a physical form and make space for hope.
Participants shape a ceramic house for their fears, share their hopes and create garlic from clay. The ceremony closes with a ritual burning and a ceramic vessel to take home.
